About My Clients
The challenges of or mid-life, are not easy- the children are growing up and leaving, parents are aging and you are their caregivers, to name a few. Meanwhile, your career is changing, or is in need of a change, and you might have a few new medical issues of your own. All of these, especially if you are experiencing more than one, can lead to feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and stressed-out. Who is taking care of you while you are taking care of everyone and everything else?
My Background and Approach
I have 25 years experience helping people achieve mental wellness. I want to get to know you as a unique person, not just as a diagnosis, or a category to problems. What you need to feel better is specific to you. I am patient and non-judgemental, and will treat you with professionalism and respect.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it's like to try to juggle work, family, and health, and struggle to keep it all going. Letting your children go to leave home, help your parents in the final stage of their life are difficult and painful. Your health is changing too, and you may now have new, unwanted limitations. Even good things, such as a work promotion, can be more stress than you expected. There are all normal parts of a matured life, but these changes can create depression and anxiety, and can be too much to handle on your own. I've been there, and I understand.
