My Background and Approach
I may be a good fit if you are looking to strengthen your self-worth, cultivate secure relationships, learn or gain better insight into your identity, develop skills for anxiety or depression, or simply, have a space to talk. For me, it's important to build a trusting relationship which inspires self-exploration and desire to better understand the complexities of what makes you, you. At the heart of my approach is connection. My priority is to ensure that you feel heard and supported throughout this process. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe space where you can be your true self as we explore who you are and discover ways to help you flourish in a way that feels authentic and genuine. I'm also passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients who are looking to explore and find acceptance in their gender and sexuality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy can be a space for everyone and anyone and that there is no challenge that is "too small for therapy". I believe in creating a space for whatever you need it to be to create whatever meaning that you want from therapy. I believe that the main reason why we develop mental health challenges is because of messages that we receive throughout our lives and the narratives that are created about us and that we continue on. It is my aim to break down the patterns and narratives to help you gain better insight into who you are and how to bloom into who you would like to be.
