About My Clients
I am eager to serve a client that is looking to set personal and professional boundaries, develop coping skills, or learn ways to better deal with others. Together we will create a realistic treatment plan and get you on the life path you were meant to be on. I offer a multicultural approach to my work, inviting people of different ethnicities, races, LGBTQIA identities, and ages to feel comfortable in a shared space with me.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in Art therapy which means we can use art in therapy to create visual representations of the unconscious mind. Although we do not have to use art in therapy, I do offer it to those who might benefit. My role in therapy is to support clients in being aware of their feelings, thoughts, and needs, which can help lead to healthier choices. I encourage clients to make small commitments to themselves throughout treatment, in order to build self-trust. I have experience working in the school system, rehabilitation programs, families within the community mental health network, as well as individuals seeking to process anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work focuses on identifying trauma triggers, establishing healthy relationships, and creating new thought and behavioral patterns through a variety of therapeutic techniques. I believe in encouraging clients to be experts in their healing journeys while collaborating with myself and other professionals to help them reach their goals.
