About My Clients
I work with people building and growing families outside the expected script: fertility struggles and IVF, pregnancy loss, postpartum, and matrescence, the identity shift into motherhood. I also support single mothers by choice, co-parents navigating divorce, families raising neurodivergent children, and non-traditional family structures. My own path through IVF, loss, and donor conception shapes how I show up in this work. Fully virtual practice serving Florida, California, and Tennessee.
My Background and Approach
I bring an integrative, creative approach to therapy, drawing on CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, narrative therapy, and expressive arts and drama therapy, depending on what each person needs. My background includes a theatre degree and training through the Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles, which shapes how I bring creativity and embodiment into sessions when talk alone isn't enough. My own path through IVF, multiple pregnancy losses, and donor conception informs how I show up in this work. I know what it means to sit in the waiting room, to grieve a pregnancy, and to build a family in a way that didn't follow the expected order of things. That lived experience, paired with my clinical training, shapes a practice that's warm, direct, and rooted in real understanding rather than just technique.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities and relationships, and I believe reproductive choices, including decisions around fertility treatment, pregnancy, and family planning, belong to the individuals making them. I welcome and celebrate non-traditional family structures of every kind, including single parents by choice, donor-conceived families, and blended and co-parenting arrangements. My practice is a space where all paths to parenthood, and all family configurations, are treated as fully valid. I know this path personally. I went through five pregnancy losses on the way to becoming a mom through IVF and donor conception, and I built my family as a single mother by choice. I don’t say that to center myself, but because I want you to know I’m not just trained in this work, I’ve lived pieces of it. I also spent years as a theatre kid before becoming a therapist, so don’t be surprised if a session sometimes involves more than just talking.
