About My Clients
I am trained as a generalist however, I do primarily focus on trauma, OCD, anxiety related disorders, depression, women’s issues, borderline personality, and subclinical or in remission eating disorders. I see adolescent to adult aged clients! I have a specialty in Sport Psychology and work with a wide array of levels from youth to professional athletes.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow or learn new things. I also aim to bring in my own expertise, compassion, and a bit of humor to our sessions, ensuring you feel comfortable in our work together. My approach blends Interpersonal Process Therapy with practical tools from CBT, DBT, and ACT. We will explore experiences, symptoms and what progress means/looks like to you! This mix helps us build a strong relationship while also giving you skills that support real, lasting growth. I completed my PsyD in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University. In addition, I completed my post-doctoral work at a private practice in Knoxville, TN working with a wide array of clients and presenting problems. I am is currently licensed in TN and IL however, I am PsyPact registered which means I can provide services in 42 states via telehealth.

My approach includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on teaching coping skills and emotional regulation; Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), emphasizing acceptance and commitment to personal values; Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), which aims to reduce avoidance and address compulsive behaviors; Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which helps individuals understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and Person-Centered Approaches, which prioritize the client’s perspective and foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
