I help people change their relationship to anxiety. Rather than feeling controlled or limited by anxiety symptoms it is possible to face your fears and move through what is making you feel nervous, jittery, tearful, shaky and afraid. I can help find the root cause of the anxiety which can bring new freedom and confidence into your life. I am a supportive partner if/when medication is a helpful tool in your journey.

Difficulties in our primary relationships can shake our whole world. It is hard to be present, focused and joyful when our hearts are hurting or confused. I work with individuals to help expand your ability to be close to others. Often we feel anxious in relationships or that we would like more space. My focus is to help you understand why you feel the way you do so there is a clear path forward. More intimacy, closeness and clarity are possible.

Being in a depressed state can feel endless and impossible. While depression is a common experience it is uniquely isolating. Whether due to grief, loss, neurochemical changes or a reaction to events out of our control depression can ease. There is a way to stay afloat and find your way back to life more free of guilt, shame and sadness. I work with people to understand their grief and find their unique footholds which lead the way out of the depths of depression.

Strange name and a wonderful experience, truly one of the best. This style of therapy respects all parts of you. It is evidence based and offers a way to understand our internal drives, fears and tap into our internal wisdom to heal. If you have talked about an issue many times without change or feel two ways about the same thing, this is a great option for you. This therapy is a great way to address anxiety in relationships, addiction, trauma, "codependency," and therapist burnout.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a powerful therapy to address trauma, attachment concerns and issues that are not getting better with talk therapy. I can help you assess if this is the right option for you. We will work together to determine if this a good option for you during virtual service or better used when we can meet in person.

Much relief and ease can happen with acute and chronic stress when mindful-based therapies are used. Finding peace, understanding and knowing is a healing balm in our fast paced world. It is difficult for most of us to process all the information, news and social messages we ingest all day. I offer practical tools from mindful-based therapies. These can look as straight forward as deep breathing and as complex and comforting as to listening to our ancestors. I do offer some DBT skills
