About My Clients
The clients I work with experience anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, body image and disordered eating concerns. I use a person-centered approach with all of my clients and tailor their treatment to their unique needs and goals. I meet clients where they are at to provide a safe and comforting environment. When you work with me you will identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, improve self-confidence.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate and I meet clients where they are at. I utilize evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and person-centered techniques. Meaningful change occurs when clients feel supported, understood and actively participate in their own growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing and meaningful change. Sometimes in life, we feel stuck and overwhelmed until someone comes along to support us, listen to us and give us the tools to help us move forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, but it does not stop at the therapy session. There is work to be done outside of sessions. My role is to teach clients skills and guide clients while also empowering them toward change.
