About My Clients
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood changes, or difficulty sleeping? Maybe you feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like yourself. I work with adolescents and adults who are ready to better understand their symptoms and find a treatment plan that works for them. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and involved in every decision about your mental health care.
My Background and Approach
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong healthcare background and experience caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, trauma-related conditions, bipolar disorder, and sleep difficulties. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I take time to understand not only your symptoms, but also how your experiences, relationships, culture, and daily life may be affecting your mental health. When medication is appropriate, we will discuss your options together so you understand the benefits, potential side effects, and treatment goals. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about your care. My goal is not simply to treat symptoms, but to help you feel more stable, confident, and able to function well in the areas of life that matter most to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves mental health care where they feel genuinely heard, respected, and valued. Your background, culture, family, beliefs, and life experiences are important parts of who you are, and I believe they should be respected and taken into account when developing your treatment plan. I value compassion, kindness, honesty, and treating people without judgment. I have a special appreciation for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, busy professionals, first responders, and homemakers. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where people from all walks of life feel welcome and comfortable being themselves. I also believe that seeking help is a sign of strength. Mental health treatment is not about changing who you are—it is about helping you understand yourself, overcome challenges, and build a healthier and more fulfilling life. I consider it a privilege to support my patients along that journey.
