About My Clients
There are times when our minds, our relationships, or our world can present us with challenges that are too difficult to work through and manage on our own. We can find ourselves so focused on what is going on around us that we ignore what is going on inside us. Although I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, I specialize in working with teenagers and young adults who struggle with traumatic memories, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and low self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
*Now accepting clients for daytime appointments only* I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with adolescents and adults. I specialize in trauma therapy and also work with individuals struggling with things such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other emotional and mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning that I tailor treatment to fit the needs of each individual person's needs. I pull from several different evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness, among others. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma.
