About My Clients
Are you feel stuck in a pattern that you seem unable to get out of or dealing with complex feelings or situations that leave you feeling overwhelmed? I understand how difficult it can be to entertain the idea that life can be different. It is my belief that therapy is a space for you to interrogate beliefs, regain a sense of agency, and to rewrite your story. I will work with you to gently explore the origins of beliefs that no longer serve you and use evidenced based therapy to empower you.
My Background and Approach
As a Black, gay man, I understand how hard it can be to find providers who share similar intersecting identities. I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, with emphasis for the LGBTQIA+ community and POC. I integrate evidenced based models of care to collaboratively develop goals with clients. My approach to therapy focuses on empowering clients and collaboratively searching for ways to make meaning out of challenging experiences.
