About My Clients
Growing up as an undiagnosed autistic and ADHD queer person, I know what it’s like to feel like an outsider. Anxiety and masking became my life. I experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to find neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health providers. I work with adults navigating a variety of experiences, including but not limited to: neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, and beyond), anxiety and depression, bipolar Disorder, gender and identity exploration, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have experience providing individual counseling as well as group therapy. Previously, I’ve worked with clients in outpatient community mental health as well as an inpatient psychiatric hospital, giving me a breadth of experience with diverse populations. My clinical work in these settings has taught me how to meet clients where they are at. Intersectionality—the interaction between a person or group’s social and political identities—is a vital part of understanding who a person is and how they interact with the world. I have and will continue to advocate for anti-racist, feminist, and disability justice practices.
