About My Clients
If you or your child are feeling stuck or held back by current or past experiences, I’d love to work together to help you thrive by healing painful experiences, discovering and strengthening your innate abilities, and creating new ways of being in the world. I treat depression, anxiety (including performance anxiety), PTSD, C-PTSD, and specialize in resolving the effects of traumatic events such as loss, medical trauma, negative home or school experiences, abuse, and neglect.
My Background and Approach
During sessions we'll go at a pace that is comfortable for you. We'll determine what to focus on and I'll introduce different therapy methods that can help you achieve your goals (i.e. EMDR, IFS and Mind-Body techniques.) Play, drawing, storytelling and music are incorporated in sessions with children and with adults who enjoy using creative tools. In addition to weekly/biweekly 50-minute sessions, I offer EMDR Intensives (4-hour sessions) and love collaborating with people who already enjoy a good established relationship with a therapist and would like to do short-term focused trauma work in conjunction with their regular ongoing therapy.
