About My Clients
My clients often feel stuck in self-doubt, overthinking, or pressure to be perfect. Many have experienced trauma, difficult family dynamics, or felt criticized or misunderstood. They may appear high-functioning but struggle with anxiety, burnout, or never feeling like they’re enough. They’re ready to understand themselves, trust their voice, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, grounded, and focused on helping you understand yourself in a clear, practical way. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT and trauma-informed care, while also exploring deeper patterns that influence how you think, feel, and respond. We’ll identify how past experiences and internalized beliefs contribute to anxiety, shame, and perfectionism, and work to challenge those patterns while building tools you can use in daily life. I believe therapy should go beyond surface-level coping. Our work may include exploring identity, boundaries, and the parts of you that adapted to cope, allowing for deeper, lasting change. My goal is to help you feel understood while building self-trust, clarity, and a stronger sense of direction.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to perform, prove yourself, or be “fixed.” Many people come into therapy already feeling like something is wrong with them, when in reality their patterns often make sense in the context of what they’ve experienced. I value honesty, self-trust, and the ability to question what you’ve been taught about who you should be. I believe people are capable of deep change when they feel safe enough to be real, not when they feel judged or pathologized. I am committed to creating a space that is affirming, inclusive, and respectful of each person’s identity and lived experience, including LGBTQ+ individuals and those navigating complex family or relational dynamics. I don’t believe in forcing change or pushing you in a direction that doesn’t feel true to you. Instead, I support you in understanding yourself more clearly so you can make choices that feel aligned and authentic.
