My Background and Approach
Neuroscience shows that we already have within us the systems to heal and thrive, they just need to be activated. Activation happens best within the sacred and healing power of authentic human relationship. Therefore, together we work to create a space where this unfolds at a natural and safe pace. To do this, I practice relationally and somatically, meaning I am not the expert dispensing advice and telling you how to live. I’m there by invitation and I am traveling alongside you as we do this courageous work together. We slow down and bring awareness to your experiences and how they show up in your body and mind in the here and now. We privilege curiosity, moving away from judgement and labels and towards understanding and acceptance. Therapy is more than symptom management. It’s an invitation to deep exploration, to a recognition that your symptoms have meaning, and that this meaning is the first step to healing at a core level and freeing your authentic self to impact the world.
