About Our Clients
We provide specialized evaluations for adults seeking answers about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental differences. We have particular expertise in evaluating subtle or high-masking presentations, including many women and gender-diverse adults whose traits may have been overlooked or misunderstood. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves and their unique neurotype.
Our Background and Approach
I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and have dedicated my practice to specialized evaluations for adults seeking answers about Autism, ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental differences. My approach recognizes that understanding a person's neurotype involves much more than observing behavior during a single appointment. Many adults, particularly those with high-masking presentations, have developed sophisticated strategies that can obscure neurodivergent traits. My evaluations are collaborative and place significant value on each client's lived experiences. Together, we explore developmental history, compensation and masking strategies, sensory experiences, and lifelong patterns across academic, work, relationship, and daily life settings. My goal is to develop a scientifically grounded understanding that helps clients better understand themselves and their neurotype while providing a foundation for appropriate supports, accommodations, and future growth.
Our Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe every person deserves to be understood within the context of their lived experiences rather than through stereotypes or assumptions. Our practice is grounded in respect, curiosity, and the belief that neurodiversity is a natural part of human variation. We also believe a psychological evaluation should be a collaborative process, not simply something done to a client. Many adults seeking an evaluation have spent years feeling misunderstood or dismissed within healthcare, education, or other systems. We strive to create a different experience, one where clients feel heard, their lived experiences are valued, and the traditional power differential is intentionally minimized through genuine curiosity, collaboration, and mutual respect. I am committed to providing affirming, evidence-based care to people of all genders, sexual orientations, races, cultures, and backgrounds.
