About My Clients
Most of my clients have known something is off for a long time. Perhaps it's a persistent challenge to finish projects, a tendency to double-book yourself, or an inability to read a room. Maybe it's the sense that you're working a lot harder than the people around you to make the same progress. What recent research tells us is that ADHD and Autism are up to 300% more common than previously believed. That means a lot of people have been missed, esp. women, AFAB, trans, NB, and POC folx.
My Background and Approach
For clients 18 and older in IL, KS, and MO, I provide diagnostic assessment services specifically designed to identify experiences of ADHD, Autism, OCD, and PTSD/C-PTSD in women and AFAB folx, BIPOCs, and others who have gone unseen and unsupported. Every assessment report, regardless of diagnosis, includes individualized recommendations and resources for next steps to support your wellness. I am AuDHD professional who got into this work after seeing myself in my clients' experiences. I approach the therapeutic process as a partnership - I am the mental health expert, and you, the client, are the expert on you. Through the combination of our expertise and resources, we can work together to improve your wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm proud to serve as co-founder and Director for Assessment Services at Purple Wellness Counseling. Our mission is to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable, virtual mental health and advocacy services to Queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and other under-served communities across the American Midwest. Purple Wellness is an explicitly NeuroQueer-led, Trans and NB-affirming organization.
