About My Clients
I specialize in working with adult women struggling with trauma, dissociation, perfectionism, high stress, phase of life issues, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and more. I want to help you learn how to cope through life stressors, overcome things that have been holding you back, and bring forth your true authentic self. It would be my pleasure to help guide and be there to support you while you take your first steps towards improving your life!
My Background and Approach
Before I became a Social Worker and therapist, I was first a client. I connected with a therapist that helped me see the light in one of the darkest times of my life, nevertheless, I understand how powerful it is to have someone to validate and support you in your journey to healing. I’m a therapist because I am amazed every day by the clients who I work with. I am a License Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Arizona with four years of experience in the mental health field. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I have found to be a vital tool in treating trauma. I have also had extensive training in treating dissociation. In my work with clients, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Structural Dissociation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, my goal is to not just do something for you but rather be something for you. I am down-to-earth, compassionate, and caring but will also be straightforward and hold you accountable for your actions and behaviors for your best interest. My aim is to create the space where others can come to be, feel secure, experience absolute acceptance, and become empowered to rewrite any self-defeating narratives and perceptions of themselves.
