What I offer: I’m easy to talk to, I'll tell you the truth with compassion and provide you with real, useful tools to navigate life's uncertainties. I’m quick to laugh and not afraid of tears. I’m passionate about life and about people, and figuring out what makes us do the things we do! Whether you suspect you have a serious mental health condition, perhaps you use a substance or other unhealthy behaviors to cope, or maybe you just want to talk someone about things that don’t feel safe to talk about with anyone else, therapy is a confidential, nonjudgmental place to explore the unexplored. With the right conditions for growth, we grow healthy and happy, naturally over time. I'm here to help provide those conditions, then help you cultivate them in your life. I’ve had many ups and downs in my own life and I love this work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a psycho-spiritual therapist, simply meaning that I believe that by doing my own personal work; My own therapy and mindfulness practice, and by recognizing daily my unbreakable connection to other, to nature, and to love, I hope to provide a place for my clients to heal and to find happiness for themselves. I believe in social justice and equality for all people. I believe we are all worthy of healing and happiness, regardless of our past behavior, our current belief system, our race, religion, gender, birthplace, sex or sexual practices, or any other of our diverse identities. I understand that our unique identities, backgrounds and life experiences play a huge role in our humanity and are an important piece of our psychic puzzle. I'm not afraid to talk race, religion, politics, and ideology. A world full of healthy, happy people is what I'm working for.
