About My Clients
I connect well with young children and make a strong connection quickly. I focus on anger, anxiety and giftedness. I also help parents and siblings to learn to use helpful tools and skills for every day problems. I help them learn to use helpful words and ways to control their big feelings so they are happier and deal with issues better. I teach kids to calm down and think so they make better choices. They learn about their triggers and body signs.
My Background and Approach
Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor. Recognized as one of the top school counselors by OCPS in 2016. I have worked in school settings, community agencies and private practice so I provide a lot of ideas and helpful skills to you and your child. I have specialized in younger children ages 6-10 for the past 6 years and work with the family to find what works for you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love yoga, walking, hanging with my chickens. Work life balance helps me to be on it when I see my clients
