I enjoy working with people who are open-minded and willing to reflect in order to make necessary adjustments to improve their lives. As a Latina woman, I can offer a unique perspective to help empower women to have healthier relationships with themselves and others. I specialize in helping people who are struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or identity and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I often work from a cognitive-behavioral approach. I have personally seen the impact our thoughts have on our behavior, and the benefit from being able to adjust them. I also recognize that each person is unique, so I strive to find the approach that best fits your personal needs. I welcome feedback from my clients and view therapy as a team effort. Clients can expect to gain more self-awareness when working with me. I help you achieve this by asking reflection questions, identifying unhealthy thought patterns, and using different techniques to help improve and change behavior.

I found my calling as a counselor because I have a natural ability to empathize and listen at a deeper level. I know firsthand how important it is for people to feel heard and understood. I believe people are capable of change, and it is my passion to help you find the confidence needed to reach your personal goals.
