Spirituality is central to many people’s sense of meaning and purpose. I honor each client’s personal beliefs and understand faith can provide comfort. My specialty is supporting those going through post-religious deconstruction or recovering from religious trauma. With care and without judgment, I help people process grief, anger, loss of community and identity that often accompany deconstruction. My goal is to assist you in reconnecting to your inherent worth beyond dogma.

As a therapist living with chronic illness myself, I know firsthand how chronic pain can impact mental health and daily functioning. I provide a uniquely empathetic space for those struggling to adjust to limitations, grieve losses, and build resilience amid chronic symptoms. My specialty is helping you rediscover and reconnect to your sense of wholeness beyond illness. I assist in finding small ways to care for your spirit so you can experience joy and meaning even on the hardest days.

In my work with children, I create a playful, engaging space where kids feel safe to express themselves. Using age-appropriate modalities like art and play therapy, we'll explore their inner world through creativity and imagination. My specialty is supporting kids managing big emotions or undergoing life changes. I partner with parents, providing psychoeducation and coaching around neurodiversity, social-emotional needs, and gentle parenting.

My relational approach is influenced by attachment theory and psychodynamic therapies. I believe healing happens in the space between therapist and client through attuned, authentic connection. Sessions focus on our relationship and the interpersonal dynamics unfolding in the room. My role is to be fully present and engaged with you and your unfolding narrative without judgment. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for increased self-awareness, vulnerability and change.

My psychodynamic approach allows us to explore your inner world and make sense of your whole self - your relationships, emotions, thoughts, unconscious drives, and past experiences. This insight-oriented therapy helps increase self-awareness of patterns and integrate disconnected parts of yourself. Together we'll explore the root causes behind your symptoms rather than just treating surface behaviors. Sessions involve looking underneath your conscious awareness to bring us understanding.

Art therapy allows you to access parts of yourself in a creative way, unlocking insights through visual expression. Using modalities like drawing, painting, collaging, sculpture, and sand tray, you can give form to complex emotions, unconscious material, past experiences, relationships, dreams, spiritual aspects of self - bringing them to light through the art process. As your therapist, I help you interpret the themes, symbols and metaphors that emerge, deepening self-understanding.
