About My Clients
While my clients have mostly been 5 to 16-year-olds in the past, I know I’m seeing many young adults and adults of all ages. I deal with a lot of clients struggling with anxiety and depression and grief. I am a huge fan of diversity and promise to create a safe space for you.
My Background and Approach
Having been in recovery from alcoholism for 33 years, I am very familiar and grateful to 12 step programs. I have an eclectic approach to my therapy. I use quite a bit of CBT )cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as solution focused therapy. I am direct and honest and will encourage your healing in every possible way. I am fully licensed as an LPC in the state of Michigan, and I am also trained to do drug and alcohol screenings and recommendations.
