About My Clients
I am passionate about working with folks on various parts of their life journey. I particularly enjoy working through life transitions (i.e. deconstructing religion, starting/ending relationships, retirement, job loss, becoming ill or disabled). I have extensive experience supporting people through grief and loss, trauma exploration and acquisition of coping skills to manage symptoms.
My Background and Approach
My approach is relational and client centered. I strive to connect with clients in an authentic way. I strive to partner with clients in order to meet whatever goals they consider most important to them. I am a curious am compassionate clinician who uses a variety of modalities in my work including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and motivational interviewing. I have practiced in a variety of settings, including outpatient and substance use clinics, community mental health, workforce mental health. I have experience working with clients with serious mental illness (SMI) and mild to moderate mental health concerns. I have experience in helping support folks with the following diagnoses: Bipolar, personality disorders (BPD, NPD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and Adjustment disorder
