About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction and recovery, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, people practicing ethical non-monogamy, and those connected to alternative or earth-based spiritualities. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from themselves or others. Together we build insight, self-compassion, and practical tools for meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience. I have a background in addiction and recovery work and understand the complexity of healing and long-term change. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ and consensually non-monogamous communities, I strive to create an affirming, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically. I approach therapy through a feminist and multicultural lens, recognizing how identity, culture, and social systems shape our experiences. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, person-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I tailor therapy to each client, supporting deeper self-understanding, emotional processing, and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe bringing their full selves into the room. My values center around authenticity, compassion, and respect for people’s autonomy and identities. I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+, earth-based spirituality, and consensually non-monogamous communities and am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care. I also value harm reduction, body autonomy, and social justice, and I recognize how larger systems and cultural experiences shape mental health. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy hiking, live music, meditation, and spending time in nature. I believe connection—to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world—can be a powerful part of healing and growth.
