About My Clients

Who were you before you learned that your worth depended on getting it right, keeping everyone happy, and never falling behind? On the outside, you may look successful, but inside, it feels like anxiety, pressure, and burnout never really turn off. You overthink, overextend, and hold yourself to impossible standards, all while feeling increasingly disconnected from yourself. Together, we’ll gently untangle the patterns of perfectionism and people-pleasing.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is both compassionate and practical, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). IFS helps us explore the different “parts” of you, especially the ones that carry anxiety, perfectionism, or the need to please and understand how these patterns developed as ways of coping. Rather than judging or trying to get rid of these parts, we work to understand them with curiosity and care. At the same time, CBT allows us to identify and gently challenge the underlying beliefs and messages you’ve internalized about yourself and the world—such as “I’m only worthy if I succeed,” or “I have to keep everyone happy to be accepted.” Together, we examine how these beliefs show up in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and begin to shift them into something more balanced and supportive. This combination creates space for both insight and meaningful change, helping you move from self-criticism and pressure toward joy and ease.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that your weird is what makes you wonderful. Too often, people learn to hide or override these parts in order to fit in, succeed, or be accepted. In our work together, we make space to gently reconnect with what feels true to you, even if it doesn’t always make sense on the surface. I see these parts as something sacred, not in a grand or abstract way, but in the sense that they are deeply yours. When met with curiosity instead of judgment, they can become a source of meaning, creativity, and a more honest way of being in the world.
