About My Clients

I work with people struggling with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I specialize in working with people struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image issues. Asking for help is a difficult but courageous step. You've probably been trying to manage all on your own, but it doesn't have to be so hard. If you are interested in working together, I'd love to hear from you to discuss what you are struggling with and how I can support you.

My Background and Approach

I have training and experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings including community agencies, schools, and private practice. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and use an anti-diet and Health At Every Size approach. I use a combination of humanistic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches in my work. I am primarily a relational therapist, meaning that I hold the relationship between you and me as the most important aspect of therapy, and believe in a collaborative approach to working together. In the room I offer people a warm and inviting space to safely discuss their struggles and integrate the various aspects of their lives and relationships. I also incorporate tools and techniques to help you build new skills and cope with challenging situations, such as mindfulness, meditation, CBT, and ACT.
