About My Clients
All of use are faced with experiences in life that that we could use some help with. Using warmth, gentleness, and humor, my goal as a therapist is to create a safe and healing relationship with you. Together we can explore the parts of yourself and your journey that might feel scary to do alone. l look forward to working with you in defining for yourself who you are and reshaping beliefs that no longer serve you.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with people across their lifespan - from working with toddlers in early childhood therapy and preschool day treatment, to school-age children and teens impacted by foster care, and supporting adults in navigating the anxiety and challenge that comes with life changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is both person-centered and eclectic. In work with adults, I most frequently draw from the frameworks of CBT, DBT, and IFS. I am also trained in Brainspotting. I utilize child-centered play therapy with children ages 5-12 in which the child takes the lead and the therapeutic relationship is the primary technique of the intervention.
