About My Clients
Somewhere along the way, you lost your voice. If you’re like so many of us, it starts little by little. You feel a little “off”… Then you feel a lot “off”… You begin to experience life differently. The lens through which you see the world has changed. You are now living a life you don’t recognize. Counseling with someone you trust is a way to finally regain yourself. You have to be your number one priority in order to show up everyday for the ones you love as your true, authentic self.
My Background and Approach
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado since 2011, helping individuals heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Heath clinician, I am trained to treat pre/postnatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am also trained in Brainspotting, a focused-mindfulness approach that is useful for healing overwhelming emotions and the effects of adverse life events.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My Mottos Are: 1. We are always changing and I will always meet you where you are, without placing my own agenda on your healing process. 2. I promise to incorporate various healing modalities to match your unique journey. We are partners in this process. I might be an expert in the field of mental health counseling but you are the expert in your life. I get the privilege of walking alongside you as we navigate. Together. 3. No judgment here. I know trauma cannot be universally classified as ‘big’ or ‘small’. Trauma is subjective, and it is all about how we perceive a situation in the moment that it occurs. My goal is to help you positively process your reaction to the memories.
