About My Clients
Many of my clients are at turning points in life — entering adulthood, adjusting to midlife or retirement, navigating loss, caregiving, or identity shifts. They often look capable but feel unsettled inside. They’re ready for work that builds regulation, reduces reactivity, and helps them feel more integrated and steady.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with advanced training in trauma treatment, including EMDR. My work integrates evidence-based therapy with nervous system–informed approaches so that change happens both emotionally and physiologically. Many of my clients already understand their patterns intellectually. They’ve read the books. They’ve reflected. But their bodies still react — anxiety spikes, shutdown happens, irritability shows up, or old experiences feel close to the surface. My focus is helping clients build nervous system regulation and reduce reactivity while integrating parts of their identity that may have felt fragmented during stressful or formative experiences. We move at a steady, thoughtful pace. I prioritize emotional safety while also engaging in meaningful work that leads to measurable shifts — not just insight, but a greater sense of steadiness, clarity, and self-trust. EMDR is available for clients who want deeper processing of specific memories or patterns
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, steady, and rooted in respect. I don’t see people as broken — I see adaptive nervous systems doing what they learned to do. I value autonomy, thoughtful conversation, and creating a space where you don’t have to perform or impress. You can show up exactly as you are. Outside of my clinical work, I deeply value family, growth, and building environments that feel calm and meaningful. I believe change is possible at any stage of life — especially during seasons that initially feel destabilizing.
