About My Clients
My clients are mostly Mexican-American, 1st generation college students or young adults wanting to learn how to start living THEIR lives how THEY want to. Do you feel this immense pressure to be "perfect" and feel you have to please others, otherwise you're a disappointment? You're not alone. Feelings of guilt, anxiety, frustration, anger, even sadness can be very overwhelming. You're not alone! I look forward in working alongside you to heal all those wounds and take your life back.
My Background and Approach
Being Mexican-American, 1st generation, I understand the stigma surrounding therapy. I know how scary and nerve wracking it is to share your life with a complete stranger when we've been taught to keep it to ourselves. I pride myself in providing the space for you and meeting you where you are at. Therapy is not “one-size fits all”, together we create a plan to determine what you need.
