About My Clients
Beatriz Morales has clinical practice with adolescents, families, children with mood disorders, ADHD and trauma. As well as treating adults with depression and anxiety. Beatriz takes a holistic approach to counseling and meets the client where they are at. She includes CBT and solution-focused techniques and TF-CBT when needed in order to assist clients dealing with a variety of issues.
My Background and Approach
Beatriz completed her Master of Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She immigrated to the United States at a young age with ample experience navigating the stressors and joys of moving to a new country. This, coupled with her professional experience, enables her to provide the guidance and support her clients are seeking. Beatriz integrates multiple treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solution focused techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an immigrant woman of color, I believe that my family instilled in me core values which I have utilized in my personal and professional life. The importance of collaboration, reciprocity, and community are some of the values which I believe help to make me a better clinician. In therapy I believe collaboration is key and that the client is the expert of their life and I have the honor to be a part of their story. I am invited on this journey of your life where we build community through our sessions and offer a supportive environment which can lead to growth and healing.
