About My Clients
This step is the hardest step - getting the courage to actually reach out and say I need help. I need support. I need a partner to stand with me as I go through this time. Whether it's depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, relationship issues, trouble communicating, social isolation, postpartum or perinatal symptoms, or many other things - reach out! I would love to talk with you to see if I am a good fit to get you the skills, tools, or just be a space to come judgement free and process.
My Background and Approach
As a counselor, my goal is to provide support as you go through life's many challenges. Together we can work through managing your emotions, healing from past trauma, or navigating through difficult life transitions. We can also work on healing your relationship by overcoming any barriers your relationship is facing, learning new communication techniques, or rebuilding broken trust. I am committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for my clients to open up and discover new emotions, thought processes, or change unhealthy behaviors. I received my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Arizona. I pride myself on being flexible and person-centered. I use evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and EFT for couples work. I am also certified in trauma therapy.
