About My Clients
My ideal client is someone feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, or major life changes who is ready to move beyond simply surviving. Whether you're a veteran, first responder, parent, or someone facing daily challenges, you want practical tools, compassionate support, and lasting change. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build resilience, and create a path towards healing.
My Background and Approach
With nearly three decades of experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I have dedicated my career to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families overcome life's challenges. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, relationship concerns, grief, and life transitions. I believe every person has unique strengths, and my role is to help you build on those strengths while developing practical skills to navigate difficult situations. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques to help you reach meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for a specific issue or looking to improve your overall well-being, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, resp
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion for helping others comes from both professional experience and my own life journey. As an experienced therapist working with children, teens, and adults, I understand that everyone's path is different. I overcame the challenges of dyslexia, served in the U.S. Army, and am the father of a profoundly autistic daughter with significant support needs. These experiences have strengthened my empathy, resilience, and appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for help. I believe therapy should be purposeful and focused on helping people heal, grow, and move forward—not remain in therapy indefinitely. My goal is to provide practical tools, meaningful insight, and compassionate support that empower you to make lasting changes in your life. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood, respected, and equipped to build the future you want.
