About My Clients
I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community, and have helped people improve or change their career paths, and generally people have a sense of being better connected with themselves and others through the work we have done.
My Background and Approach
I trained at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York City, but also hold degrees in Economics, Contemporary Art Theory, and Philosophy. This varied background brings diverse perspectives to my work. For instance, through philosophy my approach has existentialist, phenomenological influences.`
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone should have access to mental health support, and hope they find the right fit for them. Going into therapy might be hard, but it is a very fulfilling, rewarding and highly insightful journey. As a relational analyst I hold the belief that most problems arise from interpersonal relations, and gaining insight here will alleviate many problems and (negative) ideas that we have about ourselves. To provide a space for these matters to emerge, I am sensitive, attentive and compassionate, but also actively engaged in the conversation.
