About My Clients
My clients are ready to be a bit vulnerable as they are ready to be honest with themselves about negative patterns and behaviors. They will make a commitment to themselves to start honoring themselves in body, mind , and heart. I truly enjoy Building a relationship with my clients in a very safe environment.
My Background and Approach
My background is education. I worked many years in the public school system as a teacher. I especially understand the stresses families go through when children/teens face difficulties socially or academically. I also spent years working with troubled teens and appreciate their unique struggles. I am a strength based therapist. I will help you find your own strengths. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), mindfulness, hypnosis, and any modality that best fits with your problem and personality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we can change at any age or stage of life. I am passionate helping others. I believe we are spiritual beings. The best way for our spirits to shine is to be physically/emotionally healthy and contribute to society. I practice what I preach. I have learned through experience. You can trust that I will go the extra mile to help you, even when others have turned you away or told you that you can’t change (or you’ve told yourself that you can’t change).
