About My Clients
Our ideal patient is usually an adult, anywhere from their early twenties to their sixties. They’ve tried various antidepressants and therapy sessions, but nothing has worked well enough. Because of this, they’re looking for new and effective treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
My Background and Approach
She sees adults at Anew Era TMS and Psychiatry and tailors her treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs with a focus on empowering her patients through education and a holistic approach to care from nutrition to exercise. She has experience working with all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as doing psychiatric consults in the emergency room. She is a former adjunct instructor of pre-licensure baccalaureate nursing students. Barbara is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She graduated from Saint Louis University and has been in the field of psychiatry for the past 11 years.
