I am a holistic therapist and what that means is that I incorporate a variety of nontraditional therapeutic practices into what I do.

I use this treatment orientation with anger management, and it works beautifully! Clients, who originally struggled with anger and nothing else was working, saw a amazing difference. I love it!
I am an expert with anxiety and trauma, and I want to be able to help everybody who struggles with this! It's an awful situation to be in and if it's left untreated, it will only get worse. So, pick up the phone and let's have a strategy session :-D
I've always been told that a theoretical orientation is where you believe the problem stems from. I believe that people have these automatic negative thoughts- "I'm a failure", "I'm worthless", "I'm not good enough", and these nasty thoughts are what drive a lot of what is going on with you (and not in a good way).
Trauma is like a multi-headed monster that keeps popping up in all the wrong places. It shows up at your grandma's birthday when one of your well meaning relatives says something to trigger you. It shows up at work, when your boss decides to do something unexpected. It shows up in your relationships and decisions. If you are sick of it showing up in your life, come find me and we'll have a chat.
To all my anxiety peeps, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for you. For those times when you feel like you can't breathe and when it feels like your world is crashing down on you. For those times when you can't imagine what it would be like to go out and have fun with your friends without your anxiety tagging alongside you to say nasty things in your ear. For all of you who are suffering from this, I got you.
This is a love note to people who don't know where their anger is coming from and don't know what to do to stop it. It's for people who don't like to see how their anger is affecting their relationships or their productivity. They don't like to get angry and they want it to stop. I can definitely help!
Eye Movement Desentization Reprocessing allows the reprocessing of traumatic events and allows the brain to fully heal so that way you are not feeling the same effects of the trauma. It does not mean that you forget the trauma but simply rewires your brain so that you are not forced to go into a fight or flight response related to triggers.
