My Background and Approach
My approach to treatment allows the opportunity for dialogue in a safe, relaxed and confidential environment. While suffering is an unavoidable aspect of our lives, I assist my clients in gaining an understanding of their own strengths and abilities to overcome many difficulties. I have extensive training in the treatment of trauma, including EMDR, polyvagal theory and somatic approaches. My clients benefit from my many years of experience, and training in various modalities and the synthesis of approaches such as Jungian/depth psychology, Buddhist psychology and existential/humanistic systems. I am also knowledgeable about plant medicines, integration of states of consciousness and holistic perspectives.
