About My Clients

Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck during major life changes. Others are navigating grief, caregiving, trauma, chronic stress, or health-related concerns. They’re looking for a therapist who is warm, knowledgeable, and able to offer both depth and practical tools. My clients want to better understand their emotions, build resilience, and feel more grounded, supported, and connected to themselves.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed psychologist and founder of the Aurora Center for Psychology & Wellbeing. My clinical work is deeply informed by both science and compassion. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating these evidence-based approaches with trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and creative techniques. I also offer neuroscience-aligned services, including tDCS therapy for migraines, chronic pain, and mood support, as well as a Brain Health & Cognitive Reserve program for individuals interested in healthy aging and cognitive resilience. I work collaboratively, helping clients explore their inner experiences, heal past wounds, and build practical skills for emotional regulation and wellbeing. My approach is warm, grounded, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, steady place where you don’t have to carry everything alone. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that people heal not by “fixing” themselves, but by reconnecting with the parts of them that have been protecting, adapting, or hurting for a long time. I approach each client with curiosity, respect, and the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for growth. I also value the integration of mind and body, honoring the impact of stress, trauma, identity, health, and life transitions on emotional wellbeing. My work is guided by compassion, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to creating a supportive space where people can explore, understand, and transform their inner world. I strive to meet clients exactly where they are, helping them move toward clarity, balance, and meaningful change.
