About My Clients
If you find yourself here, chances are you are feeling lonely, unsure, or a general "stuckness" that you can't quite explain. How human of you! I work with adults (18 and older) to explore their unique stories of isolation, hurt, growth, and change. Often in life transitions, we are not sure where to turn next. I empower clients to identify their chosen values and begin the process of choosing growth. I am here through the grief, hesitation, and joy that comes along the way.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) from Seattle University and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. Prior to my counseling career, I spent a decade in human resource management in corporate and non-profit environments. I am intimately familiar with the processes of change, grief, and growing self-awareness. I support adults of all ages through their unique - and also very human - experience of change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the wholeness of every individual, and I believe that the systems we live in begin chipping away at our wholeness from the day we are born. To me, therapy is a place to begin reclaiming parts of ourselves that we have lost or turned away from. Being whole is an act of resistance.
