About My Clients
I enjoy helping clients ages 13 and up navigate anxiety, setting boundaries, self harm, stress, and neurodivergent challenges. Additionally, I work with couples and families. My ideal client is an individual in their 20s navigating life transitions and stress. I also specialize in relationship issues. I work to help couples navigate communication concerns, intimacy issues, parenting conflicts, and extended family dynamics.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University in 2024. I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Promotion and Behavior (with an emphasis in health promotion) and a minor in global health from the University of Georgia in 2022. I grew up in Georgia, but I have fallen in love with North Carolina. I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for clients to begin their healing journey. I will celebrate with you along the way and help you create positive and sustainable change. I firmly believe everyone has the strength within themselves to create the life they desire. My therapeutic approach is warm, direct, holistic, and strengths based. She views the therapeutic process through a systemic lens and uses solution focused therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness in her practice. Every person is unique, and I aim to tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual.
