About My Clients
Many of my clients have spent a lot of time managing other people’s emotions and keeping things together on the outside, even when things feel overwhelming internally. They may struggle with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or relationship stress, and often feel unsure of their own needs. They’re looking for a space where they don’t have to perform and can start to reconnect with themselves.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and relationship dynamics. My style is warm, relational, and collaborative. I’m engaged in the process with you. I ask questions, reflect what I’m noticing, and help you make sense of what’s coming up in a way that feels real and applicable to your life. I use a trauma-informed approach that integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, and somatic work. This might look like exploring how your past is shaping your present, building tools to regulate your nervous system, or understanding your emotional responses more clearly. Therapy isn’t about performing or saying the “right” thing. It’s about having a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a more grounded and intentional way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you deserve a space where you don’t have to perform or shrink yourself to be accepted. Many people have learned to prioritize others or stay small to feel safe, and that can make it hard to know what you actually need or feel. I don’t see people as broken. I see people who have adapted to their environments in ways that made sense at the time. Therapy is a place to understand those experiences with compassion and start to relate to yourself differently. Healing isn’t linear, and growth can feel uncomfortable. I aim to create a space that is supportive, honest, and collaborative, where you can explore your experiences with curiosity, build self-trust, and feel more like yourself.
