About My Clients
I specialize in working with anxiety, self-esteem challenges, OCD, life transitions, and social-emotional learning. I am passionate about embracing a person-centered approach that prioritizes the experience of my clients feeling genuinely acknowledged and understood. Cultivating a robust therapeutic relationship is paramount to me, as I aim to foster an environment where individuals feel at ease and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I also draw upon evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), strengths-based approaches, and creative-based approaches. Integrating these techniques allows for a comprehensive and tailored approach, addressing both immediate concerns and fostering enduring positive change. I believe that a combination of interventions provides a holistic and effective framework for my clients' growth and well-being. I have previous experience as an elementary teacher and working with children and their families. When teaching, one of the subjects I taught daily was a social-emotional learning curriculum. Through this, I found the importance of teaching social skills, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills.
