About My Clients
With every session, I hope clients are able to leave my office feeling heard and seen. My goal is to provide a space that feels grounded, honest, and forward-moving — where insight turns into action and progress feels measurable. If you or your child feel stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of wondering “what’s wrong with me,” I’d be glad to help you understand what’s actually happening — and what to do next.
My Background and Approach
When first meeting with a client, I like to start with a blank slate in terms of treatment modality or techniques. I use a very person centered approach to determine the strengths each client has that can be utilized in sessions through many different techniques and intervention types. I tend to always involve some aspect of behavior modification, either with CBT strategies or through mindfulness and solution focused methods. I have advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis and integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), executive functioning skill development, emotional regulation strategies, and strengths-based interventions. My work focuses on building practical and sustainable systems that fit into your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel human. I value authenticity, humor, curiosity, compassion, and being able to show up without feeling like you have to edit yourself first. I’m not interested in judging people for the choices they’ve made or telling them who they should be. I care about understanding how someone became who they are, what has kept them stuck, and what they actually want their life to look like. I value autonomy, individuality, and honest conversations—even when life is complicated, messy, or doesn’t fit neatly into a box. My goal is to create a space where you can be fully yourself and know that I can handle the real version of your story.
