About My Clients
I specialize in working with adults and teens in the LGBTQ+ community, but I am here to support you whether or not sexuality and/or gender are your primary reasons for seeking therapy. Together, we can work through a variety of experiences like anxiety, life transitions, trauma, self-esteem related issues, faith transitions, and navigating relationships with significant people in your life. I utilize a Jungian, psycho-analytic framework, alongside parts-based work, and a social justice lens.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, I believe forming a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is crucial. I am very personable, meaning, although I still believe in professional boundaries I do not tend to be rigid or formal in our sessions. I also try to find a balance between being validating and supportive yet also holding people accountable and encouraging growth.
