About My Clients
Maybe you have found yourself in a moment of transition—a breakup, family conflict, identity shifts, or old coping strategies have stop working. Or maybe you’re feeling more critical of your self, your life, your body. Together we can create a non-judgmental space to explore the patterns shaping your life and create new possibilities for healing and connection. Therapy may give you a new opportunity to intentionally create the life and relationships that would support you to flourish.
My Background and Approach
I operate from a client-centered perspective and lean on tools from IFS, ACT, and Narrative techniques. In sessions that means that I have a collaborative approach to goal setting and session structuring. I support my clients as they find the balance between accepting the opportunities that life has given them and forging their own path. Together we can unpack old storylines and roles that used to be protective but are no longer serving you. I received a BA in psychology from the University of San Diego along with minors in English and Philosophy. During my time in San Diego I worked as a summer camp supervisor for the Y and a personal trainer at my campus gym. After graduating I attended Seattle University for the Masters in Couples and Family Therapy program. While completing my masters program I participated in a yearlong internship at a group practice where I gained firsthand experience working directly with children, families, couples, and individuals.
