My belief in the power of therapy comes not only from professional training but also from my personal experience as a client searching for healing tools and learning how to evolve past my traumas. I know the courage it takes to begin this work, and bring that understanding into every session.

As a former single parent to a now young adult son, I deeply understand how challenging—and rewarding—parenting can be. I value the opportunity to share insights I’ve gained through my own lived experience, personal therapy, and academic training. It’s a privilege to walk alongside parents as they navigate their own journey with compassion and resilience.

My experiences working with teenagers—personally, as a coach of high-level competitive gymnasts, and in therapeutic settings—have been deeply meaningful. The teenage brain is fascinating, complex, and full of potential. I truly enjoy supporting teens as they navigate this unique stage of growth and self-discovery.

Becoming aware of our thoughts—and mindfully choosing to shift them—can be truly life-changing. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched, effective framework that supports this process. When appropriate, I enjoy sharing CBT tools with clients to help them build healthier, more empowering thought patterns.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a therapeutic approach I use to support clients with stress management and emotional regulation. I also incorporate Mindfulness-Based Performance Enhancement—a program adapted from MBSR—designed to enrich mental health and optimize performance in high-level athletes.
