About My Clients
You're the strong one in the group, the deep feeler, the overthinker with a tender heart. Maybe you're burnt out, holding ancestral grief, or feeling like you're too much and not enough at the same time. My clients are often neurodivergent, BIPOC, Muslim, LGBTQ+, or first-gen immigrants/folx navigating identity, trauma, anxiety, or ADHD. You want therapy that feels collaborative, empowering, and spiritually attuned. If that resonates — I'm here.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, MPH) with over 8 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, burnout, and identity healing. I specialize in ADHD, neurodivergent-affirming care, and culturally responsive therapy that centers BIPOC and Muslim clients. My approach blends science and soul — I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and somatic tools, but we move at your pace. This isn’t sterile or clinical. It’s a warm, collaborative space where your whole self is welcome — your faith, your fears, your memes, your grief, your hope. Healing isn't about fixing what’s broken — it’s about reclaiming your story and rewriting it with intention.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is an act of resistance, and that therapy can be both a soft place to land and a spark that fuels transformation. I’m committed to anti-racist, anti-carceral, and liberation-focused practice. I'm a proud Muslim therapist who integrates spiritual care without judgment or agenda. I deeply value queer joy, Black healing, rest as resistance, and mutual aid. Outside of the therapy room, I’m dreaming up healing-centered projects, collecting scent memories, and helping build a world where mental health is truly accessible.
