I've been trained to provide Written Exposure Therapy, a brief, evidence based exposure-based therapy for PTSD by Brian P. Marx, PhD & Denise M. Sloan, PhD. The aim is to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories. In a series five 30 minute sessions, an individual is guided to bring to mind a specific traumatic memory and write in detail about the thoughts and emotions they had at the time of the event, to process the distressing experience, link feelings to events, and make meaning.

You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, defend your pronouns, or wonder if your therapist ‘gets it.’ I work with LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and the weight of living in a world that isn’t always safe or kind.
