About My Clients
I hope to support you and be an addition to a community member as an outside view on life’s problem. My goal is to make sure you are heard, validated, and mentally cared for on your terms as we work as a team! I see your life story through many lenses whether it is systemic, cultural, or relationship dynamics. We will learn and grow together looking for your strengths and using them to support you in new life pathways. Your experiences matter! Mental health is a battle and there are ups & downs.
My Background and Approach
I grew up with Kathak (Indian Classical Dance) family where my mother was my teacher and the matriarch of the community. I graduated from Humboldt State University with a Psychology BA focused on abnormal psychology. I received my Masters in Science as a Marriage Family therapist. My journey had focused in Domestic Violence working my way up from an advocate, to a case manager, and finally to therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I stand proud for the Asian Indian/SouthEast Asian/Indian American/LGBTIQIA+ community in hopes that the future will bring mental health awareness to community. I have two dogs, Harley and Benny, who are my hiking and travel furkids. I hope to share your life journey with you in ways you feel supported and cared for.
